A national charity which works with local employers and care & health services to help people with a disabilities and learning difficulties find employment.
Shaw Trust believes that everyone has the right to work and live independent lives. As a national charity, their work aims to empower people to feel able to improve their lives and to believe in their own abilities.
Support may include:
- training and advice sessions to help people to become more 'work ready' and acquire life skills
- personal development and motivation tools to help you get to the place where you would like to be in your life
- employment programes to help you move from benefits into employment
- signposting to independent services which can help you to make choices about managing your own life successfully
