Wanstead and Woodford Blind Club
A social club for anyone who has difficulties with their sight and wants to meet other people in similar circumstances.
They provide meetings on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. The club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and you enjoy live entertainment with a cup of tea and home baked cakes. There are regular themed lunches and afternoon teas together with a summer party and Christmas lunch.
Members are welcome to come with a carer if they need them. You pay a voluntary contribution towards the afternoon tea and there is also a weekly collection towards a local school for visually impaired youngsters.
