Woman's Trust (East London Service)
Woman's Trust is an independent and confidential service providing specialist mental health support to women affected by domestic violence. It empowers women to overcome the debilitating effects of domestic violence and regain control by improving their mental health.
This women's only organisation offers free support including:
- counselling: sessions to help explore, understand and move on from the experience
- self Development workshops: day workshops helping to understand issues such as what domestic violence is, why it happens and its impact on people
- support groups (daytime and evening): weekly sessions to share stories, learn you are not alone and give and receive support
