There’s also a designated space for growing, and the paths have been designed to be accessible for wheelchair users.

Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity that cares for local people with life limiting illnesses who reside in Brentwood, Havering, Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge.

The Hospice supports patients in their own home as well as providing in-patient and day care services at their building in Havering-atte-Bower. The care provided often extends beyond the physical treatment of symptoms. It caters to the emotional, psychological, spiritual and social needs of patients, their families and their carers.

Most patients are referred via their GP or another healthcare professional, but people can also refer themselves.

The SANE charity helps and improves the quality of life for people affected by mental illness.

SANE has three objectives:
